- Smith River, a tailwater fishery he still specializes in today.
- Specialties: Vince has extensive experience across North Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee. He has spent over 15 years bushwhacking backcountry trout streams in the North Carolina mountains to chase wild and native fish.
- Techniques: He is highly skilled in European-style nymphing (Euro-nymphing) as well as traditional fly fishing approaches, such as throwing heavy nymph rigs and streamers during high or off-color water flows
