Sell Flies
Fly buyers care about hook, size, colour and how many. This path puts those first and sends you to the shared guides instead of repeating them.
#Before you start
- An approved account. If you are new, use the application.
- Three patterns you can tie well and repeat.
#Steps
- Finish your Storefront.
- Photograph each pattern: one close shot on a plain surface, one scale shot, one of the packaging.
- Decide how to sell it: a single fly, a dozen, or a bundle.
- One configuration at one price is a Simple Products listing.
- Several hook sizes or colours belong in one Variable Products listing.
- Add stock and lead time honestly, especially for flies tied to order.
- Set weight and dimensions for the packed box. See Orders, Shipping & Payouts.
- For seasonal or monthly boxes, read Subscriptions.
#Example: first three listings
A sensible launch for a new tier:
Listing one: Parachute Adams, size 14, one dozen (simple). Listing two: Woolly Bugger in sizes 6, 8, 10 and olive or black (variable). Listing three: a spring box announced later as a subscription.
#Details to state
- Hook size and style, and whether barbless
- Colour and options
- Per-fly versus dozen pricing
- Stock and lead time
- Packaging
- The right category
#Troubleshooting
Buyers ask for sizes I do not list.
Add them as variations once you can tie them reliably.
