Terms of Use — Vendor

A plain-language reference to the marketplace’s published vendor rules. This is not a new contract or a replacement for the Terms of Service and the agreement accepted at registration.

General guidance. Fields marked "where enabled" may not appear in your account.

#Before you start

  • Read the current Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Shipping & Returns.
  • Review the actual Vendor Waiver & Confidentiality Agreement supplied at registration. That agreement has not been reproduced or verified here.
  • This summary reflects public policies reviewed on October 10, 2026. It is general information, not legal advice. Obtain qualified legal review before changing or adopting terms.

#Before listing or accepting orders

  1. Supply accurate current account information and keep credentials secure. Notify the marketplace promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
  2. Describe products, services, property access, price, availability, material limitations and relevant risks accurately.
  3. Maintain the licenses, permits, insurance or certifications required by applicable law for what you offer.
  4. Review the marketplace fee and payout arrangements, including how refunds and adjustments affect your records.
  5. Disclose the applicable shipping, return, cancellation and rescheduling policy before purchase or booking.
  6. Use customer details only for authorized order fulfillment and resolution, in line with the accepted confidentiality agreement and applicable law.
  7. Only upload media you own or are authorized to use, and follow marketplace standards and audit requests.

#Example: setting a guide-trip policy

Listing rules must be clear before a reservation is made:

Explain the duration, maximum party size, included equipment, meeting expectations and weather/cancellation policy on the listing. Hold the required permissions for the water and service. Do not advertise qualifications or access rights you do not actually have.

#Independent vendor and fulfillment responsibilities

The published Terms describe vendors as independent third parties—not employees, agents or partners of Two Guys Flies. Each vendor creates and fulfills their own listing and is responsible for its accuracy, quality, safety and delivery.

The marketplace supplies the platform; it does not promise to manufacture a vendor’s goods, guide their trips or operate their property. Do not represent the platform as doing your fulfillment.

#Fees, payments and payout records

The current published Terms of Service state a 15% service fee on products and services sold through the platform and describe automated vendor payout of remaining proceeds.

Confirm the accepted agreement’s calculation basis, payment-provider charges, adjustments, refund treatment and timing before relying on a particular net payout. This summary does not add a payout deadline or change the fee.

#Customer confidentiality and security

The published policies require customer details to remain confidential and be used solely for authorized fulfillment. Do not sell the data, publish it, add buyers to an outside prospect list, or use their information for unrelated outreach.

Keep access limited, use secure tools and report suspected unauthorized access promptly. Follow the accepted agreement and applicable recordkeeping requirements when deciding how long to retain records.

#Ownership of media

Vendor photos, videos and other media remain the vendor’s property under the published Terms. The marketplace receives a limited license to display them to operate and market the platform.

Do not upload copied photographs or instructional content without permission. Use the marketplace name and logo only with authorization.

#Prohibited conduct and marketplace review

  • Do not list counterfeit, stolen, illegal or unsafe products or misrepresent a service.
  • Do not defraud or harass other users, misrepresent your identity, or interfere with site security.
  • Do not circumvent the platform in bad faith to avoid its service fees.
  • The published Terms permit audits and suspension/removal for violations or failure to meet marketplace standards.

#Outdoor risks and applicable law

Outdoor activities carry risks. Communicate relevant safety requirements and lawful qualifications clearly; use any required vendor-specific waivers without treating them as a substitute for safe operation.

The published Terms identify North Carolina governing law and contain disclaimer, liability, termination and update provisions. Read those provisions directly; this summary does not expand them or waive statutory rights.

#Which document applies?

Read the current marketplace Terms, the actual accepted vendor agreement and the policy shown for the relevant listing. This documentation is a reference—not an acceptance mechanism, signature, waiver or replacement agreement.

If documents disagree, ask the marketplace and obtain legal guidance rather than choosing whichever wording suits the transaction. Questions about published policies can be sent to support@cobbconsulting.net.

#Troubleshooting

Does reading this page sign a new agreement?

No. It is a documentation summary. Any acceptance or signature belongs in the marketplace’s approved registration or contracting process.

Can I change the marketplace terms in my product description?

No. Write accurate listing-specific policies within the accepted agreement and applicable law; ask the marketplace about conflicts.

Can I use buyer emails for my own marketing?

Not under the published confidentiality policy merely because they placed an order. Respect the accepted agreement and applicable consent requirements.
